New Model 1610 hazardous materials storage building from Safety Storage, Inc.

Safety Storage, Inc., of Hollister, California, today announced the availability of its new Model 1610 prefabricated, relocatable steel building designed for the safe storage, handling, and use of chemicals and hazardous materials.
The new Model 1610 building is nominally 16 feet in length by 10 feet in width, providing 129 square feet of storage space. For convenience in forklift loading and unloading materials, the building is furnished with two outward-swinging, double leaf doors, each measuring 60 inches wide by 80 inches high. Forklift openings are provided for ease of relocation.
The building is fabricated from heavy gauge steel, structural channel, and tubing. Standard features include built-in secondary containment, removable galvanized steel floor grating, chemical resistant coatings inside and out, and a security locking system with an inside safety release on each door.
A wide range of optional environmental controls and safety accessories are available. Special needs such as air conditioning, heating, lighting, fire suppression systems, explosion-proof electricals, partitioning, and shelving can be factory installed in the structures.
Safety Storage Buildings ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding building construction and the storage, handling, and use of hazardous materials including the Uniform Building & Fire Codes, BOCA National Building & Fire Codes, Standard Building & Fire Codes, and the National Electrical Code for the design, construction, and use of Group H occupancies.
