"Our company continues to provide full EPC construction services throughout the US and Canada safely and effectively. With approximately 200 employees in our home office and up to 1200 employees each day working throughout the US and Canada, safety is of utmost importance to us and to our clients. Our company-wide Experience Modification Rate (EMR) is 0.60; this is 40% below the national US average for all contractors. We also maintain an OSHA Recordable Incident Rate that is two-thirds lower than the national average for other contractors in the United States," says Tony Condon, Chief Safety Officer at NewMech.
"Over the past three years we have grown substantially," says Paul Jordan, Chief Executive Officer, NewMech Companies Inc. "This dynamic growth has occurred through our continued ability to meet the ever changing demands of our clients by solving their construction needs and providing solutions that are effective and efficient; but always stressing safety. We demand safe practices of all of our employees. We have been in business since 1921 and we self perform thirty-three trades. Safety and quality are an essential part of our corporate culture. Our employees are required to know all necessary safety practices involved with their trade and they must be current on all job-site safety practices prior to starting any job. Even our office staff and senior management must attend ongoing safety classes and maintain current OSHA 10 status to be employed at NewMech. With plans for continued growth, safety and quality execution will always be part of our company's operational mandate."
