SAIC Awarded NASA Environmental Management And Safety Contract

San Diego, CA and Mclean, VA - Science Applications International Corporation recently announced that it has been awarded a contract by NASA's Glenn Research Center to provide environmental and safety support services to facility-wide operations.

The single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, time and materials contract has a three-year base period, one two-year option, and a total value of more than $46 million if all options are exercised.

SAIC will provide support services in the areas of environmental, chemical and waste management; environmental, chemical and safety compliance; industrial hygiene, environmental engineering, and construction safety. Work will be performed at Glenn Research Center and its Plum Brook Station in Cleveland and Sandusky, Ohio, respectively.

"NASA is one of SAIC's most valued clients and we have successfully supported the Glenn Research Center mission for the past 10 years."
