Exponent consultants evaluate the human side of accidents and failures. They study and analyze individual behavior and evaluate the limitations and capabilities of people, such as memory, perception, body size, dexterity, visual perception in accidents, or cognitive capacity. They evaluate the performance of children and adults engaged in tasks such as ladder climbing, handling toys and small implements, and operating vehicle controls.
