Description: Bloodborne Pathogens training is required under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030 and is intended for individuals with potential occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials in the course of performing their assigned duties and tasks. This training module presents an overview of the regulatory requirements covering bloodborne pathogens. Individuals will review symptoms of bloodborne diseases, recommended engineering control measures, proper disposal of contaminated materials, selection of personal protective equipment (PPE), corrective actions, information on post-exposure evaluation, and signs and labels.
