Chemical Information System

The Internet-based Safety Officer II (SOII) is a comprehensive environmental health and workplace chemical safety information system that provides access to the chemical information found in manufacturer's Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). The package is based on XML technology.

This open architecture system is user-friendly, icon-driven, and is specifically created to enable professionals responsible for improving and managing risks associated with handling hazardous materials in the workplace. Chemical data is converted into useful safety information by allowing the user to edit site-specific safety policies and procedures into their MSDS database and create multiple custom reports and labels. A tutorial is included to help companies comply with OSHA regulations requiring employers to inform and train their workforce in hazardous material handling. It is also available as stand-alone PC and enterprise Client/Server versions.
