Eyelation Launches Safety Shoe Program

Eyelation is excited to announce that it has expanded its revolutionary benefit management program to include safety footwear in addition to prescription safety eyewear.

Tinley Park, IL (PRWEB) - Since 2011, Eyelation kiosks have been saving companies time and money by offering a platform to manage prescription safety eyewear programs. Prior to that, few could have envisioned that employees in an industrial setting would purchase any product, much less prescription eyewear through a self-service kiosk. Now, over 450 companies use Eyelation to make their work simpler. Today Eyelation is excited to announce that it has expanded its revolutionary benefit management program to include safety footwear in addition to prescription safety eyewear.

The Eyelation system provides a method for companies and program administrators to combine their safety shoe and prescription eyewear programs. The Eyelation benefit management system tracks eligibility dates and benefit allowances for each employee allowing program administrators to quickly and easily monitor safety compliance. Eyelation believes that when it is difficult for administrators and employees to use a program, employees and companies are put at risk.

According to Eyelation’s founder and CEO, Brad Kirschner:

“Pretty early on I realized that it would be beneficial to add shoes to our program. We had numerous customers ask us about adding shoes to our kiosks without us even bringing it up! While it may not seem intuitive to some, in an industrial setting eyeglasses and shoes go together because they are traditionally purchased in very similar ways using manual and time consuming processes.”

Eyelation currently has approximately 200,000 industrial workers in its safety program in the US, and expects to cover over 1,000,000 workers within a few years. The program has been a boon to off-shift employees who traditionally have trouble receiving the same services as their day-shift counterparts.

“Eyelation started with a pretty simple concept, and it’s just awesome how much we have struck a nerve in the marketplace. The business has and will continue to evolve rapidly in order to take advantage of the opportunities that we see in front of us. It has been an amazing personal experience to watch this grow from the initial concept to where it is today,” says Brad.

Eyelation is based out of Tinley Park, IL in the south suburbs of Chicago.
