Formaldehyde and Glutaraldehyde Monitoring Unit

The PPM AMS-2 Aldehyde monitoring station is a compact unit that enables continuous area monitoring of hazardous formaldehyde and glutaraldehyde levels using the PPM Formaldemeter 400 and Glutaraldemeter 3 instruments.

The unit is a self-contained datalogger that stores all session data in its internal memory. In addition to logging data, the AMS-2 displays the current formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde concentration, and an integral printer provides a session concentration history graph and summary concentration data. It also offers advanced industrial hygiene functions, including calculation of STEL and TWA levels with user configurable audible warning alarms. Stored data can be imported via RS232 into most popular PC-based spreadsheet packages.

The AMS-2 is particularly suited to use in medical settings, laboratories, wood and paper product manufacturing, and the plastics and rubber industry. The unit is housed in a rugged ABS enclosure, and a membrane overlay keypad makes it particularly hygienic and easy to clean. It can easily be moved to monitor different locations as required.
