The M21 single channel universal transmitter has been engineered from the ground-up to include the innovative features that managers and operators in the field demand, while providing rock solid day-to-day operation, even in the most extreme conditions. The Millennium II redefines what you expect from a fixed gas detection solution.
Sensors can be easily exchanged, with NE-MOS Solid State, Electrochemical, Infrared and Catalytic Bead sensor technologies available. The Millennium II transmitter automatically recognizes any connected pre-calibrated sensor and maintains an uninterrupted digital signal between them, providing fast response times and over 2000ft (600m) sensor separation.
The intuitive menu interface and non-intrusive commands in Class1 Div1 areas are accessed via the included external magnet and ultra-bright OLED graphic display. This OLED display is completely unique in the market, providing read-outs that are clearly visible in darkness or bright sun, blistering heat or at temperatures as low as -55°C! The transmitter maintains Class1 Div 2 safety levels with the face removed to access the push button controls and test jack outlets. Add our optional intrinsically safe HART® port adaptor for access to the built-in data logging and advanced diagnostics, right at the transmitter via a hand-held communicator or a THUM™ adaptor for instant wireless communications.
All this amounts to a detection solution which stands alone in it's performance, versatility, and efficiency. Only Net Safety offers our unique blend of technologies which result in more uptime, less consumption, and greater safety coverage.
Features & Benefits
SMART Sensor Technology
A truly universal transmitter, the M21 can be fitted with a full range of both toxic or combustible gas sensors. SMART (Self Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology) sensors are pre-calibrated and easily connect to the transmitter which automatically recognizes a newly fitted sensor and uploads it’s specific configuration profile.
Lowest Power Possible - Widest Input Power Range
Allows for longer sensor separation (+2000ft.) using lighter gauge cabling which means lower installation costs and increased system stablility. Serious conditions can occur during common voltage drops when other detectors will simply stop functioning or shutdown operations by going into fault. The industry's lowest power draw makes is also ideal for solar, TEG, and turbine powered applications.
Digital Communications to Sensors
Sensor and transmitter continuously communicate digitally, giving you the confidence of stable, accurate protection with fast response times even over long separation distances (2000ft/600m).
Global Certifications
The entire Millennium II Series is approved to international hazardous area safety standards for operation and performance.
Analog, Relay, Modbus® RS485 RTU & HART®
Multiple communication protocols allow the M2B Transmitter to work seamlessly with your system, including wireless communication via a THUM™ WirelessHART® Adaptor.
Field-proven Sensor Technologies
Solid state Nano-Enhanced MOS sensors that have fast H2S response and do not "fall asleep"; poison-resistant Catalytic Bead with SensorGuard technology, which greatly prolongs sensor life; Infrared sensor technology utilizing a dual beam design with no mirrors that may become contaminated ("fogged up") or misaligned; as well as a full range of fast response Electrochemical toxic gas sensors.
Market-Leading Warranties
- Infrared & Catalytic Bead Sensors - 5 Year Warranty
- Solid State NE-MOS & Electrochemical Sensors - 2 Year Warranty
- Transmitter and Electronics - 3 Year Warranty
Unsurpassed Reliability
Net Safety gas detection solutions are field proven in the harshest conditions possible and are have been the preferred choice of operators for years because of their ease-of-use, solid performance, and flexibility.
Bright OLED Display
The only detector on the market with a full graphic OLED display that is easy to read in all ambient lighting conditions and operates down to -55°C!
Easy To Use Menus
Whether you're disabling a sensor or simply setting display language such as English, French, Portuguese or Spanish, the full text menu instructions make the installation, operation and calibration simple. No manual necessary!
Event Logging
Calibration intervals, low/high gas alarms and faults are time and date stamped, then stored in non-volatile memory. Log up to 980 sequential events.
