The new series 8000 structural wall is designed to provide users with high-quality, diffused daylighing for energy efficiency, lower maintenance, vandalism, and HVAC costs, plus shatterproof security and a modernized façade.
The system is custom-engineered and features R-values to 8.5, U-values as low as 0.12, diffused daylight transmission to 60%, and thermal breaks. Interior and exterior walls are glazed with a choice of 8-mm to 25-mm polycarbonate structured sheet. Maintenance-free PCSS is shatterproof for security and features co-extruded UV stabilization that prevents discoloration. Glazings are available in clear, bronze, opal, or custom architectural tints. Framing is 6063-T5 extruded aluminum with anodized or painted finishes.
