Navigating risk management is no easy task. Events or near events occur everyday and the Incident/Event Management Module is used to capture the facts, investigate for contributing factors and manage the resolution. Events classified as simple could follow a different work process than those that are more complex. More severe or complex events may require employees and contractors to enter and manage detailed consequence information.

This module, like the entire IMPACT application, was designed with the output in mind. The data captured and other raw data behind the scenes can be used to generate leading indicators of performance. The leading indicators inherent to the nature of the product can be used to reduce the likelihood of future events.
