The SMART hazardous materials management module was designed for use by schools, colleges, manufacturers, contractors and public agencies to manage hazardous materials inventories and help them meet their SARA Title III, OSHA Hazard Communication and RCRA hazardous waste disposal requirements. The system enables users to respond quickly and properly to spills or emergencies because hazard information, cleanup procedures and personal protection requirements are available with the click of a mouse.
The SMART Hazardous Materials Management Module:
- Provides a searchable database of material inventories
- Manages materials from purchase through disposal
- Stores material safety data sheet (MSDS) information
- Stores hazardous waste manifest disposal information
