This safety light curtain prevents injury from machine hazard with a harmless and invisible curtain of infrared light. It has one universal control box (3-box system) with built-in capabilities that meet all requirements. This curtain also has a redundant design and self-checking circuitry that ensures no single failure can ever cause an unsafe condition. The electronics of it are compatible with all types of machine controls and its operation is not affected by smoke, dirt, oil or ambient light, including weld flash and strobe lights. In addition, it has blanking windows that disable one or more light beams to allow fixed objects such as conveyors or work tables to remain in the light field.
