Blasland, Bouck, & Lee, Inc. (BBL) was incorporated in 1984 by 12 professionals in Syracuse, New York whose goal was to establish a nationally recognized source of creative solutions to a broad range of environmental engineering and scientific problems. Since that time, our firm has grown to include affiliated companies, including BBL Environmental Services, Inc. (remedial construction management), and Jacobs Environmental, Inc. (specialized water/wastewater engineering). Together, we employ over 500 engineers, scientists, and technical support personnel in offices throughout the United States.

An industry leader, BBL is ranked 19th on Engineering News Record's (ENR's) list of Top Hazardous Waste Firms, 89th on ENR's list of Top 500 Engineering Design Firms, and 54th on ENR's list of Top 200 Environmental Firms. Much of the firm's success and growth is due to our ability to conduct large, multifaceted projects. This success is primarily the result of a corporate management philosophy that facilitates effective coordination among specialized company divisions performing different project functions.
