Company History
Ted Barton, Forrest Wright, and Thurman Sneed formed BWS Distributors in1962 as a construction materials company, supplying the industry with construction specialties. In 1970, under the direction of current President/CEO Robert Barton, BWS responded to a growing need and became a full service industrial safety equipment supplier.

BWS Today
BWS continues to be a full-line, full-service supplier, specializing in instrumentation & breathing apparatus; a complete repair facility is maintained for the instrumentation & SCBA that are distributed. BWS continues to expand and update the product lines we distribute to provide our customers with the latest products in the safety equipment field. BWS employees continuously improve the technical expertise that is needed to back these products. Training certificates are provided on many of the products we distribute. We offer specific expertise in the areas of gas detection instruments and self-contained breathing apparatus. While BWS' primary service area is California, we provide equipment and training throughout the United States, and promise prompt delivery from our large inventory.
