Our patented line of cementatious powders are designed to meet the OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance and for the chemical treatment and true solidification, not simple absorption or gelling, of body fluids, infectious wastes, and all forms of acids.

In addition, OMNI has a unique amalgamation powder that has magnetic properties, for the added simplicity in cleaning mercury bearing wastes. Once the powders are melded, reduction of the dangerous fumes has been reduced, and to easily collect using a simple magnetic tool.

OMNI was established in 1980 to manufacture products for the treatment of hazardous waste based on AJAX's long experience in cement technology. Our first products, OMNI-KAP and OMNI-FIX, represented an entirely new approach to the treatment of Hazardous Materials.Rather than simply absorbing them, as was then current practice, the OMNI compounds neutralized and fixated hazmats in an insoluble cement matrix that would resist leaching into our precious ground water. This method was sufficiently unique to allow the US Patent Office to grant two patents on the OMNI process.

In 1982, several leading chemical companies and clean-up specialists expressed interest in a single package spill clean-up compound that would utilize the OMNI process enabling safer clean-up and treatment in one step. The medical waste disposal products, OMNI-Kap and BioSet, were a development of the resulting OMNI technology.
