Bacou-Dalloz Hearing Safety Group to Showcase Latest Hearing Protection Devices
Smithfield, RI - The Bacou-Dalloz Hearing Safety Group will be showcasing several new hearing protection offerings at AIHce 2006, May 13-18, in Chicago, IL. The company will occupy booth Booth #211.
The Bacou-Dalloz Hearing Safety Group will feature their new L-Zero (L0) Series and Bilsom(R) Leightning(R) Hi-Visibility earmuffs. Also on display will be the new Viking(tm) Series with Air Flow Control(tm) and the Howard Leight(R) brand LS-400 Leight(R) Source earplug dispenser, along with other products.
The Hearing Safety Group has extended its popular line of Bilsom Leightning earmuffs with a new L-Zero (L0) Series. "The idea behind the Leightning L0 Series is to provide convenient and reliable protection for workers who are not exposed to high levels of noise and need a compact earmuff solution," said Renee Bessette, COHC, Senior Marketing Communications Specialist for the Bacou-Dalloz Hearing Safety Group. "Lower attenuation ratings provide targeted protection, and the extremely lightweight design provides added comfort. Ultraslim earcups on the L0F Folding model fold down to less than four inches wide, allowing them to be carried conveniently in a belt pouch, while the L0N Neckband model fits comfortably around the neck and under welding helmets and other PPE."
Delivering dual protection night and day, the new Bilsom Leightning Hi-Visibility earmuffs offer maximum attenuation and total visibility, especially in outdoors or in low-lighting situations. Eye-catching fluorescent green earcups contrast against dark backgrounds. The only earmuff on the market that incorporates a reflective headband that illuminates when exposed to light, these earmuffs are available in standard L3HV headband style [NRR 30], and a convenient folding design with optional belt storage case, providing protection up to NRR 27.
Bilsom has upgraded its popular Viking(tm) Series noise blocking earmuffs to include its patented Air Flow Control technology (AFC) which delivers optimal attenuation across all frequencies without increasing earcup size or weight. Viking Series multi-position headbands provide an alternative to cap mounted earmuffs--allowing the wearer to select over-the-head, behind-the-head, or under-the-chin positioning--and can be worn with hard hats, face shields, respirators, and other PPE.
