CEI Forms First Global Fleet Safety Alliance

Trevose, PA (PRWEB) - The CEI Group, Inc., CEPA SafeDrive and VVCR International announced today they have created the Global Fleet SafeDrive Alliance™, which will offer the first turnkey, fully integrated multinational fleet safety program.

“The Alliance represents the first time that multinational companies can come to one provider to manage their entire global fleet from a single platform,” said Wayne Smolda, CEI’s president and chief executive officer.

The Alliance represents an alternative to fleets establishing separate relationships with multiple vendors, and offers the first ready-made online portal to track fleet safety performance on a global basis. Together, the members of the Alliance currently operate in on six continents and offer support in more than 30 languages.

The Alliance’s services will include driver and fleet risk assessment, driver behavior monitoring, and remedial and pro-active driver safety training, with the goal of reducing accidents, saving lives and avoiding billions of dollars in costs related to fleet accidents worldwide.

Each Alliance member will provide its own services by region: CEI in North America, CEPA in Latin America and the Caribbean, and VVCR in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

Country and regional fleet managers will have access to each of the Alliance’s online platforms. CEI will build and maintain a global platform that integrates data from all three providers for one unified view of a client’s global safety data.

“The Global Fleet SafeDrive Alliance is creating the platform that for the first time will enable managers of a multinational fleets to begin to standardize their safety programs on a worldwide basis,” said Wayne Smolda, CEI’s president and chief executive officer. “But it will also allow the fleet’s program to be adapted to the laws, regulations, equipment and culture of each country in which they operate.”
