Source: Elk River, Inc.
The Choker is a tie-back ZORBER shock-absorbing lanyard which serves as both tie-off sling and a shock-absorbing lanyard
The Choker is a tie-back ZORBER shock-absorbing lanyard which serves as both tie-off sling and a shock-absorbing lanyard. The Choker is constructed of a red nylon webbing strength member covered by a durable wear cover of contrasting neon green polyester which protects the red inner strength member from abrasion. This design allows easy inspection-if any of the red inner core is visible through the neon green wear cover, the lanyard must be removed from service.

Featuring a 13180 3/4" gate opening auto triple-lock carabiner with a gate capacity of 5,000 pounds, the Choker complies with design requirements outlined by OSHA for tie-back connection. (See WARNING below.)

The Choker meets all OSHA regulations in effect at the time of shipment.

WARNING: The Choker is equipped with an auto triple-lock carabiner which complies with design requirements outlined by OSHA in CFR 1926, Subpart M for tie-back connections. Conventional lanyards and shock-absorbing lanyards do NOT comply with OSHA regulations when used in a tie-back configuration.
