Clarion Safety Systems To Present Seminar On Workplace Safety Signs At ASSE Safety 2018

Derek Eversdyke of Clarion Safety Systems will present an educational seminar on safety sign systems in line with ISO 45001 objectives at the American Society of Safety Engineers’ Safety 2018 Professional Development Conference

Milford, PA (PRWEB) - Clarion Safety Systems, a leading designer and manufacturer of safety signs and safety labels, will be participating in the American Society of Safety Engineers’ (ASSE) Safety 2018 Professional Development Conference (PDC) held June 3 – 6, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas.

As one of the experts selected to lecture on the latest issues and trends facing safety, health and environmental professionals, Clarion’s Derek Eversdyke will present an educational session on safety sign systems in line with ISO 45001 objectives.

ASSE’s Safety 2018 is the nation’s largest conference for occupational safety and health professionals. This year’s event is expected to draw more than 8,000 people from 40 countries around the world. It will also serve as the launch of the Society’s new name and brand, with ASSE becoming the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP). According to ASSE, the 2018 conference will be offering more than 220 concurrent educational sessions taught by some of the greatest minds in safety.

“ASSE is known in our industry for delivering top-of-the-line educational and networking experiences that OH&S professionals can put into practice to increase safety within their organizations. I’m honored and excited to be a part of this pinnacle event for workplace safety,” says Eversdyke.

Eversdyke’s presentation will be featured on June 4 at 4:30 p.m. in session number S593, “Implementing Best Practice Safety Sign Systems In Line with ISO 45001 Objectives.” The session is sponsored by ASSE’s Risk Management/Insurance Practice Specialty as well as its Standards Development Committee.

“Companies adopting ISO 45001 will need to accurately communicate residual risks to workers. In my session, I’ll explore how safety professionals can use recent advances in U.S. and international safety sign system standards to communicate and reduce risk in line with ISO 45001 objectives,” says Eversdyke.

In his role as Director of Business Development at Clarion Safety Systems, Eversdyke collaborates with safety professionals on sign systems that can help to elevate safety and minimize risk. He has worked with Clarion’s product manufacturing and facility safety customers – as well as industry partners and advocates – for nearly a decade. As a member of the U.S. technical advisory group (TAG) to ISO 45001, Eversdyke is involved in the standards’ multi-year development and refinement process.

Over the past 25+ years, they’ve helped to write the standards that manufacturers and other facilities in the U.S. and across the globe need to meet.
