Alamo, CA --(Marketwire) - ClickSafety, the country's leading provider of online construction safety training, today announced it has partnered with California State University, Dominguez Hills, a Region IX OSHA Training Institute Education Center, to offer a 16-Hour EM 385-1-1 Awareness course. This is the industry's first and only online 16-hour training course based on the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) 2008 EM 385-1-1 safety manual (most recent edition).
The definitive course for government contracting safety compliance, 16-Hour EM 385-1-1 Awareness, is designed for all contractors and workers soliciting or seeking to perform work governed by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines and FAR clause 52.236-13(c) of all federally funded, Department of Defense or component projects. The course covers 14 topics and is ideal as a stand-alone awareness course or an annual refresher. It can also be combined with 24 hours of practical training to satisfy the 40 Hour EM 385-1-1 guidelines or with the OSHA 10 or 30 Hour to meet Site Safety Health Official (SSHO) requirements. This course has been reviewed and meets or exceeds all requirements established by the Engineering Manual 385-1-1.
