DBO2 Partners With Parsons To Develop Leading Safety Indicators

San Carlos, CA - DBO2, a leader in the measurement and management of leading risk indicators, has been awarded a five-year, global agreement with Parsons Corporation. An industry pioneer in incident prevention, Parsons has partnered with DBO2 to develop a comprehensive set of leading safety and risk indicators, to be collected by employees at all levels of the organization.

The stated agreement seeks to protect more than 50,000 Parsons and subcontractor employees on projects around the world, on sites as diverse as nuclear and pharmaceutical plants, steel mills, and airport terminals. Field employees at these sites will monitor identified best practices relative to safety—and their impact on loss prevention—using DBO2 SafetyNet. Once accumulated, these observations will provide Parsons with unprecedented visibility into its worksite practices across the diverse industries it serves, while developing a global risk profile that will enable it to better predict and prevent loss.

"Safety is one of Parsons' core values," states Andy Peters, Parsons Corporate Vice President, Safety, Health and Environment. "Our goal is for all of our employees to return home safely to their families each day, and we aggressively pursue the most innovative technology and services available in the market in order to meet this goal. The adoption of DBO2 SafetyNet reinforces a world-class safety culture where employees already take ownership of the safety process throughout the entire corporation."

"Parsons is unique among industry peers in its commitment to eliminate injuries in the workplace and keep employees safe," says Barry Nelson, CEO of DBO2. "We are honored to play a role in this mission."
