Emergency Planning Programs
The Corporate Emergency Response Plan contains information necessary for management to respond to an immediate crisis. It places critical response information at the fingertips of the corporate response personnel and defines what action those persons shall take to stabilize the organization during an emergency. The plan provides the infrastructure and necessary links with the community as well as member corporate response plans.
The Facility Recovery Plan outlines the coordinated steps that management should be ready to take in order to maintain business operations over an extended period of time and return to normal operations once the crisis has passed. The framework for the business recovery component will be established in the corporate emergency response plan and the linkages between the immediate response phase and the business recovery phase are present in the two plans. As response phase activities shift to recovery phase activities, the corporate response personnel make the transition and work with their counter parts at the "corporate response" level in the restoration of normal business operations.
Finally, the Training and Exercise component introduces the members of the emergency management group to the contents of the plan and allows them to practice their response under simulated disaster conditions.
