Grace Industries, Inc.System is a spread-spectrum radio telemetry system designed to protect firefighters by identifying and naming any firefighter(s) in distress. A transmitter relays distress signals to the command post where a receiver provides visual and audible warnings that an alarm has been activated. The distress signal can be manually activated using an alarm button, or automatically activates if the firefighter is injured and ceases movement. The system continuously provides the following: the identities of all personnel on the emergency scene, the on/off status of all devices, the identity of personnel in alarm, and when firefighters have not checked in. It can be configured for various sized departments.
