Detector Electronics Corporationre of the Eurofighter ‘European fighter aircraft of the future' at BAe Warton, in England, will be protected by 56 Det-Tronics unitized UV/IR flame detectors. Ordered through package system supplier Wormald Fire Engineering, individual Eurofighter production cells at the facility in Lancashire will each be guarded by four Model U7652B detectors.
Det-Tronics UV/IR flame detectors are used around the world, including protecting ‘Air Force One' among USAF applications, as well as by the RAF and British Airways in the UK.
