In addition to restricting access, it maintains an audit of all equipment usage. The controller will record the time, date, user, and duration of use. This utilization data can be used to manage a fleet of vehicles, equipment and their operators. Each reader will accept up to 1200 user I.D. Keys while the PC software will support 10,000 User Keys and 255 vehicles. A single I.D. key will operate on up to 255 vehicles and can also be used for building access with the manufacturer's access control system.
