The patent pending SideRoller lateral movement hand truck is designed to solve the age-old problem of transporting long, narrow items through doorways and halls. It is well suited for moving large, cumbersome items such as plywood, doors, furniture, tables, carpets and crates.

The truck's wheels (with semi-pneumatic tires) offer easy conversion from standard mode to sideways mode with positive locking in either position through the use of two spring-loaded pins. The conversion takes only a few seconds and does not require removal of the load from the truck. Also, the special frame configuration allows the wheels to maintain full contact with the floor in the lateral transport position.

Entirely self-contained, the truck offers a 500 lb. capacity in both standard and lateral movement positions. Its frame is constructed of heavy-duty 1.25-in. OD steel (14 gauge), and the fixed steel noseplate measures 7 in. x 14 in.
