In the early 1980's CMC Rescue, a recognized expert in rescue equipment and its use, developed one of the first training programs to teach mountain rescue skills to other rescue services. The CMC Rescue School has evolved over the years and today offers training in:
  • Rope Rescue Technician I/II & III
  • Confined Space Entry and Rescue
  • Emergency Building Shoring
  • Trench Rescue and Shoring
  • Tactical Rappelling for Special Weapons Teams
  • Basic Rappelling for Emergency Responders
  • Swiftwater Rescue

CMC Rescue instructors are carefully selected professionals with extensive backgrounds in rescue response. Unlike some rescue programs, we do not mass produce our instructors, each one of our lead instructors is a professional rescue trainer. They travel extensively across the US to evaluate and master the best techniques for our courses. The extensive use of hands-on training has become the hallmark of CMC Rescue School courses. Attendees develop skills that can be immediately applied in their own rescue responses.
