PureAire Monitorings Systems, Inc. keep up to eight or more individual locations under continuous surveillance, this compact multipoint monitoring system detects and measures toxic and corrosive gases. The MDS-8 system provides centralized monitoring for ammonia, arsine, chlorine, fluorine, HCI, HF, phosphine, and many other hazardous gases.
The system consists of a centralized controller linked to individual gas detectors/transmitters. Concentration from each connected detector is displayed in either bargraph or numerical format on an easy to read local LCD display and is also output as an RS-485 digital signal. Gas concentrations that exceed user-programmed alarm levels are indicated locally and may also be output to auxiliary alarm/control systems via dedicated alarm relays. Loss of sensor signals and other instrument error conditions activate a local channel status LED and a common system fault relay.
