Description: Hazardous Materials Transportation is required annually under OSHA 49 CFR 172.704 and is intended for employees who are directly involved in handling, packaging or shipping hazardous materials. The training module presents an overview of accepted procedures. Individuals will learn how to classify, package and label these materials for safe transport and introduce emergency response procedures for accidents involving hazardous materials. This training module and vehicle specific training are necessary to meet regulatory requirements.
