Telatemp Corporationd Indicator is designed to prevent burn injury to personnel from accidental contact with dangerously hot surfaces. The bright yellow, adhesive label appears blank when cold but when the surface temperature to which the label is adhered exceeds 50°C (122°F), the word "hot" and a warning graphic appears. This product can be used over the range of –30°C to +90°C in environments where ultraviolet exposure is not excessive.
These safety warning labels are used to prevent accidental burn injuries caused by any surface that could radiate extreme heat in all industries from automotive to hospitals to restaurants.
