Survivair, A Division of Bacou USA Safety, Inc.meets the demands of industrial users who want respiratory protection against environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), but do not require the performance of an NFPA-compliant SCBA. The design eliminates unnecessary fire fighting features.

The system features a silicone rubber facepiece with a five-strap head harness and skirt, available in three color-coded sizes and in mesh-style head harness. The facepiece is designed for durability, comfort, sealing ability, and easy servicing. An easily removable exhalation valve is also incorporated.

The first stage regulator incorporates minimal moving parts to enhance reliability, while the second stage regulator offers a compact, low profile, Air Klick fastening system, first-breath-on, and downward vision. This regulator allows attachment in any orientation and activation of the unit without free flow, enabling it to be kept in stand-by mode.

Gauge and Alarm assembly are swiveled and angled, with few moving parts. The gauge can be worn with face protected against the body, then turned for easy reading. A whistle is included to cut through background noise.

The backpack requires no tools and no bolts or screws on the harness for disassembly and assembly. It features a regulator holder that holds the regulator in an activated stand-by position and keeps contaminants and water out of the disconnected regulator.
