Kappler Protective Apparel & Fabrics 1 provides solid chemical protection, with better than eight-hour holdout against HF and an impressive 150 minutes against Sulfuric Acid, even after 50 wash cycles. And it offers tremendous advancement in comfort and wearability, without the "sticky" feel common to most PVC products. The bright orange color of Kappler Protective Apparel & Fabrics 1 is easy to see and this unique fabric passes the flammability requirements of NFPA 1991. It's made with special UV stabilizers to reduce color fading and a fungicide additive to eliminate mildew concerns. And Kappler Protective Apparel & Fabrics 1 is available in a variety of styles, including jackets with Kappler's exclusive SHUR-SEAL glove system for easy replacement. Seams are taped.
