IMC presents two-day OSHA Outreach Training for General Industry program

State College, PA (PRWEB) - The Innovative Manufacturers’ Center (IMC) announced today they will be presenting a two-day OSHA Outreach Training for General Industry program, in conjunction with MANTEC, to benefit companies across Central Pennsylvania. The event, featuring EMS Consulting and Mr. Dennis Buck, CHCM, CSM, CHST, OSHA Consultation Program Consultant (Retired), Principal, Buck & Associates, will be held November 15th and 16th in Alexandria, Pa. For more information and to register for the event, visit http://imcpa.com/event/osha-10-hour-training/.

“Safety is paramount to companies and their employees, and especially as a manufacturer, you have to show a commitment to preventing injuries and illnesses caused by unsafe acts and unsafe conditions,” said Lauri Moon, Manager, Training, and Outreach at IMC. “OSHA compliance shows a company’s commitment to its employees and simultaneously helps them reduce costs.”

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandated training satisfies compliance requirements and helps companies provide a safe working environment. This two-day class teaches the fundamentals of the OSH Act, PPE, Electrical Safety, Machine Guarding and the new Hazard Communication Rule (GHS), and many other topics.
