Chase Ergonomics, Inc. line of shock/impact protection material is designed to dramatically reduce impact forces reaching the hands. It has been independently tested by Ingemansson Technology AB labs (Europe's leading consultants in acoustics, noise and vibration) for superior force-reducing capabilities. For instance, when using a Gelpact-equipped glove liner, a worker feels only 45% of the impact force reaching the hands. The product also dramatically reduces the transmissibility of forces at higher frequencies that are experienced after each impact as the tool and its handle resonate. Applications include contact-stress applications, such as keyboard users, warehouse workers, and glass or lumber handlers. Products using Gelpact include tool wraps and glove liners.
