Industrial Scientific Achieves Renewal of ISO9001:2000 Registration

Pittsburgh, PA - Industrial Scientific Corporation, the innovative leader in gas detectors and gas monitoring equipment, announces the recent achievement of renewal and registration to the newest ISO standard, ISO9001:2000. The Corporation's Quality Management System has been registered as compliant with the International Standard, which focuses on quality and customer satisfaction.

Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI), accredited registrar for over 55,000 companies in over 100 countries, issued Certificate Number 180688 in accordance with the requirements of the standard and scope of supply defined as "design, development, manufacture, supply and service of electronic instrumentation and related accessories used for quantitative measurement of toxic gases, flammable gases and oxygen including use in explosive atmospheres."

Industrial Scientific has held the status of ISO9001 since 1994, and was the first U.S. manufacturer of gas monitors to receive the esteemed certification.
