LINE-X 'Green' Is The Environmentally-Friendly Color Of Choice
Santa Ana, CA - LINE-X Spray-On Truck Bedliners is an environmentally-responsible company with an environmentally-friendly product.
With the vast changes in Environmental and Government regulations in North America and around the world, LINE-X Spray-On Truck Bedliners is an industry leader in the research and development of helping truck owners protect their investment while protecting the environment. Its team of research chemists has more than 40 years of industrial coating experience.
For more than 13 years, LINE-X has taken an environmentally-friendly stance with its spray-on truck bed applications, taking deliberate measures not to harm the ozone layer during the spraying process. It will not produce environmental hazards like VOCs or CFCs and is government compliant. From its inception, the Santa Ana, California-based company has specialized in natural, environmentally-friendly, biodegradable, non-toxic truck bedliner applications.
The LINE-X product is earth friendly, eco safe, non-toxic, non-hazardous as well as biodegradable. It is also solvent free and is a natural safe and green alternative to other spray-on applications. The LINE-X product is OSHA-approved.
LINE-X is also a non-flammable and non-combustible liquid.
So, exactly what are VOCs or the more technical term -- Volatile Organic Chemicals? VOCs are emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids, some of which may have short and/or long-term adverse health effects. Again, LINE-X is VOC-free.
CFCs or Chlorofluorocarbons are dangerous substances like ammonia for purposes of refrigeration and spray can propellants that are harmful to the environment. Again, the LINE-X product has no CFCs.
"In the research and development of the LINE-X bedliner product, our team went to great and appropriate lengths to ensure the product was environmentally-safe for our Franchisees as well as to the community it serves," said Tom McWeeney, technical services manager for the LINE-X Franchise Support Center.
Standard operating procedure for LINE-X applicators is their personal protection as well as those around them. Common practices for all LINE-X technicians in any spray-on truck bed application include:
- Conducting truck bed spray applications inside a professional spray booth
- Maintaining a well-ventilated air velocity within the booth
- Wearing appropriate gear when prepping, masking and sanding the truck bed
- Utilizing a full-face fresh-air breathing system mask when spraying
