Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Authoring Course

For manufacturers and importers of chemicals or chemical products, preparation of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) is a regulatory requirement. This comprehensive training program will cover the regulations governing MSDS preparation and it will provide hands-on training in MSDS authoring.

Over the course of three days, students will cover OSHA requirements, ANSI recommendations and they will participate in exercises aimed at application of regulatory principles to actual MSDS preparation. Students will then apply this knowledge towards the development of MSDSs using a windows-based authoring system. This training program can be customized to specific training needs and requirements including working with examples that represent the students' particular products.

Comprehensive training materials from this course will serve as a valuable reference tool for students in their own MSDS preparation. Upon successful course completion, a certificate of achievement will be awarded. Training topics include:
