Medical Gas Testing Program
The Program specializes in the detection and quantification of medical air, gases, oil mist and particulates in breathing air. Routine air analyses include total gaseous hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane, oxygen, condensed hydrocarbons and particulates. Additional analyses are available upon request and include moisture, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, halogenated solvents, benzene, methanol and mold/bacteria. Purity gases such as oxygen, nitrogen and nitrous oxide are also available, as well as fiber count analysis.
Sampling takes minutes, and each kit comes with simple but detailed instructions for use. Each air sample is compared to the client's required air standard and reported. If the air sample is "out of specification," our laboratory technician will call within twenty-four hours to discuss the results and supply the client with a free of charge resample. If the sample passes the required air standard, a certificate suitable for framing will accompany the laboratory report. TRI is able to compare air samples to many diverse industry air standards such as
- National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)1500, 1404 and 99
- OSHA 1910.134 and 1910.430
- Compressed Gas Association Grades D, E, G, N
- The Texas Commission on Fire Protection
