Messe Frankfurt And Asian Business Exhibition & Conferences Join Forces To Launch First Ever Secutech India
India's security and safety market is growing
Making its debut in Mumbai, Secutech India, the professional trade fair for integrated security and safety technologies and solutions will take place from 1 – 3 March 2012 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, India.
Secutech India is organised by Messe Frankfurt and Asian Business Exhibition & Conferences Ltd (ABEC). ABEC is India's largest exhibition company and organises many of India's leading trade fairs for various industries. The fair is also supported by a number of prestigious industry organisations, including the Central Association of Private Security Industry, Fire & Safety Association of India and the Security Association of India.
Secutech India is expecting 150 local and international exhibitors from around the globe to attend the 4,500 sqm show. They will display their latest electronic security, fire and safety and homeland security products, technologies and solutions. Among the exhibitors are international and local solution providers including Astra Tech, Axis, AXXON, Cutting Edge Infotech, Dafar, Everfocus, FMP Technical Solutions, Honeywell, Kubs Safes & Locks, Micro Technologies, Nueral Integrated Systems, Powertek, Schenider, Vivotek and Zicom.

The show will also feature an electronic security pavilion where India's largest IP solutions zone will be set up. A number of top tier IP and IT equipment and software suppliers will showcase a comprehensive range of IP solutions from high-end cameras, transmission to other IP related solutions and equipment.
In addition, Secutech India will run a series of fringe programmes, including Global Digital Surveillance Forum India, specialising in various industry sectors and offering the latest industry information as well as networking opportunities.
India's security and safety market is growing
India has a huge population of 1.2 billion and the country is one of the world's fastest growing economies with an average annual GDP growth of 5.8 percent for the past 20 years. India's growing economic environment and an increasing security and safety awareness have prompted local demand for security and safety products and solutions.
According to a&s magazine research, the Indian electronic security market is estimated to be worth USD 450 million and is expected to grow at an annual rate of 25 percent over the next four years:
- Video surveillance market – USD 250 million
- Access control market – USD 140 million
- Intrusion alarm market – USD 10 million
- Other peripherals – USD 50 million
