Mist Cooling System

Coppus Ventilation / Tuthill Corporationnt ventilator incorporates an evaporative misting technology to create a fine cooling mist without wetness. It is effective outside or inside, in high heat industrial applications, like foundries or on manufacturing floors, and in warehouses, garages or construction sites, in dairies, stables or nurseries. A single unit can lower outside or inside ambient temperatures as much as 40°. When used in tandem (three to six fans), this system will cool areas as wide as 60 ft.

The mist is emitted from precision machined nozzles. The source of water can be an ordinary garden hose or water reservoir. A single unit can cool a production area and simultaneously lower dust concentration in the air. It has the ability to refresh workers, spectators or participants in hot areas, inside and out, where conventional air conditioning is not an option. The product kits are mobile pump cases without an attached fan head. These units include a stainless steel nozzle ring and 25 ft of high-pressure hose that is connected to the front of any industrial fan. Additional design features include:
• Durable housing contains high pressure pump, five micron water filter and fan cooled motor
• Expansion capacity, base houses outlets for two satellite fans that function off the base unit
• Uses standard garden hose water connection and 115V electric circuit
• Fitted with heavy duty, easy roll pneumatic wheels for positioning in a plant or at an outside location
• GFCI receptacle for added safety
