Type 4436 Noise Dose Meter and Intrinsically Safe Noise Dose Meter Type 4436 I satisfy a wide range of noise exposure standards. They calculate, among other things, the Sound Exposure (Pa 2 h) and the Daily Personal Noise Exposure Level (L EP,d ) as recommended by recent standards. Type 4436 doubles as a Type 2 Integrating Sound Level Meter. Applications include evaluating personal noise exposure and assessing area noise in the workplace.

The 4436 I meter has 20 fixed setups. Each contains a set of six measurement parameters. When a setup is chosen, the noise dose meter works in accordance with the parameters contained in that setup. It is easy to change from one setup to another, according to the company. A user setup allows for the choice of a combination of parameters not covered by any of the other set-ups. The meter retains measurement data, even when turned off. Data can be transferred to a printer or personal computer outside hazardous areas.
