North Safety Products introduces a new breed of protective eyewear - N-Vision 5600 Series with the innovative RX insert

Cranston, RI (January 2004) – North Safety Products' design team has launched the N-Vision 5600 Series – a revolutionary new spectacle designed to allow prescription lenses to be inserted on the nosepiece.

Margie Wolfe, Product Manager for North's eyewear line says, "we wanted to respond to the aging workforce issues by providing the latest style protective eyewear that will also cater to the prescription wearers. This will contribute greatly to compliance and due diligence for both the worker and the company".

The N-Vision 5600 Series is designed with a choice of universal comfort bridge or the new flexi-fit nosepiece. The RX insert attaches to the flexi-fit nosepiece version only. . The new spectacle comes packaged with both straight and curved temple ends, as well as 4 frame and 8 lens colors - the frame colors are white, black/grey, blue/grey and grey/black, the lens colors are clear, smoke, amber, brown, vermilion, blue, mirror, indoor/outdoor mirror.

The high base, panoramic aspherical lens offers a wide unobstructed field of view. In addition, the North Flexi-fit is the latest in an ergonomically designed three-point non-slip nosepiece that eliminates excessive pressure on the nose. North lenses are coated with the exclusive 4A coating – Anti-fog, Anti-scratch, Anti-UV and Anti-static.
The N-Vision 5600 Series meets CSA Z94.3, ANSI Z87.1- 2003 and CE EN 166 requirements.
