Cranston, RI – North Safety Products is introducing new protective eyewear as a continuation of its mandate to improve its popular line.

Margie Wolfe, Product Manager for North's eyewear line, stated that, "we wanted to improve the comfort while still keeping the sporty style. The high base panoramic lens offers a wide unobstructed field of view. We've added new soft-touch comfort pads on the temple ends that will grip the side of the head more comfortably and prevent the spectacles from falling off and in addition, North introduces Flexi-fit – the latest in ergonomically designed three point non-slip nose piece that eliminates excessive pressure on the nose. Our engineering team has developed unique self-adjusting temples to ensure a secure and comfortable fit. The frame is made of chemical and heat resistant Elasto LT material. Also unique is the new ‘rapid-change' lens replacement system. "

North lenses are coated with the exclusive 4A coatings – Anti-fog, Anti-scratch, Anti-UV and Anti-static.

Lens colours: clear, Smoke, Amber, Mirror.
Frame colour: Black
The Lightning Plus exceeds CSA Z94.3, ANSI Z87.1-1989 and CE EN 166 requirements.
