North Safety Products introduces The Lightning Plus protective eyewear

Cranston, RI – North Safety Products is introducing the Lightning Plus as the product that has been engineered to set a new performance standard in safety, but designed for users.

Margie Wolfe, Product Manager for North's eyewear line says, "we wanted to improve the looks while still keeping the sporty style that we created in 1998. The Lightning Plus is designed with an innovative ‘bowed temple' to fit virtually anyone – and fitting everyone properly is a difficult challenge for safety officers concerned with both compliance and inventory issues. Another style innovation is the choice of temple end colours – Bronze, Silver, Blue and Black.

The high base panoramic lens offers a wide unobstructed field of view. We've added new soft-touch comfort pads on the temple ends that will grip the side of the head more comfortably and prevent the spectacles from falling off. In addition, North introduces Flexi-fit – the latest in an ergonomically designed three point non-slip nose piece that eliminates excessive pressure on the nose. The new ‘rapid-change' lens replacement system is also unique.
North lenses are coated with the exclusive 4A coatings – Anti-fog, Anti-scratch, Anti-UV and Anti-static.
Lens colours: Clear, Smoke, Amber, Mirror.
The Lightning Plus exceeds CSA Z94.3, ANSI Z87.1-1989 and CE EN 166 requirements.
