The system features twin thermostatic elements designed to respond independently to incoming hot and cold water temperatures and provide protection against element failure. It is available in a range of finishes, piping configurations and cabinet designs, as well as in bronze, brass, copper, and stainless steel construction. A lockout plate and mounting bracket are available.

The system offers a positive hot water shut off that is enacted if the cold water supply to the valve fails. If both thermostatic elements fail, this unit will go into full cold flow to continue to meet shower and emergency fixture demands. It can temper water to a range of flows, allowing the valve to deliver safe, tempered water to a variety of emergency fixtures supplied by the same water line.
