SourceOne Partners is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring the Safety Alliance for Excellence (SAFE), South Florida’s largest safety and health organization in the construction industry. The annual sponsorship will help support monthly meetings with guest speakers, presentations and an open forum to discuss safety issues in the workplace.

The PEO and payroll experts recently attended SAFE’s Annual Holiday Breakfast Meeting and Toy Drive on December 4, 2013 at the conference center at Miami Dade College North Campus.

This year’s special guest speaker was Mr. Charlie Morecraft, also known as “Remember Charlie,” whose inspiring story of overcoming the pain and adversity of a severe workplace accident transformed the safety industry in America. His riveting account of how being burned over half of his body as a result of a refinery explosion helped become the catalyst forworkplace safety reform kept attendees on the edge of their seats. This very motivational presentation was the perfect opportunity to educate both safety managers and employees on the importance of on-site safety training and protective equipment.

The highlight of the event was gathering toys for Sheridan House Family Ministries, a non-profit organization serving the families and children of Florida, through faith-based programs for nearly 50 years. Guests brought a new, unwrapped gift to the event.
