PetroLite

NASCO PetroLite is a flash fire, arc resistant, chemical splash resistant to most chemicals, protective raingear system. Designed to provide a degree of protection to the wearer and reducing the severity of burn injuries resulting from accidental exposure to flash fires.
PetroLite has a single layer TTP cal/cm2 average of 8.1 cal/cm2 according to test method

NFPA 1971-2000, Section 5-10. NASCO uses a custom blend of Nomex and Kevlar along with the chemically splash resistant FR neoprene coating.

PetroLite flash fire gear is recommended for these workers exposed to flash fires:
