Flame response and excellent false alarm immunity are Factory Mutual verified, with the unit tested by FM to more fuel types and false alarm sources than any other companies' detectors.

Compact design of 3.1 x 3.1in x 1.5in depth includes a mounting bracket built into the chemical resistant polypropylene housing. The cable has a chemically resistant sheath over its entire length, compared to a standard protection limit of 10ft on competitive detectors.

FM approved as the only intrinsically safe flame detector suitable for the semiconductor market (Factory Mutual Loss Prevention Data Sheets 7-7/17-12, Semiconductor Fabrication Facilities) the PM-5MP is also CE marked.

Completely encapsulated, with internal shielding, it can withstand liquid spray or immersion and offers the highest level EMI and RFI immunity. Operating range is 32o to 158oF and 0 to 100% humidity, and cone of vision is 110o both horizontally and vertically.
