Flame response and excellent false alarm immunity are Factory Mutual verified, with the unit tested by FM to more fuel types and false alarm sources than any other companies' detectors.

Compact design of 3.1 x 3.1in x 1.5in depth includes a mounting bracket built into the chemical resistant polypropylene housing. The cable has a chemically resistant sheath over its entire length, compared to a standard protection limit of 10ft on competitive detectors.

Able to withstand both hose-down and liquid immersion, the PM-5MP is completely encapsulated, with internal shielding, and offers the highest level EMI and RFI immunity in addition to superior false alarm rejection. Also CE marked, it has an operating range of 32o to 158oF and 0 to 100% humidity.

Typical applications include chemical process areas, fume hoods and gas cabinets, clean room operations and semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Cone of vision is 110o both horizontally and vertically.
